MESSAGE FROM THE RAW

We chose the ostrich to symbolize Raw Indie because
of its message. All of our artists are true artists
and do what they are. They express themselves
honestly to the world. Like the ostrich, they hope
that you listen and hear the music of your own life in a new
and different way. |
I bestow the gift of life in a new and different way.
People often think
with their heads in the sand, and this is how I am
often pictured. What I give is a different way to view
knowledge. When you remove your head from the sand, you
see life in a new and different way. I could also share
that when we submerge ourselves into ourselves, looking at
all parts of ourselves, we can better know the world.
People are interesting and funny, and I delight in the
ways you create to fool each other. You rely on your
wit and are so surprised and angered when someone outwits
you. I think people are acutely aware of what they do.
I do not feel you are as unconscious as you would like to
believe.

You live such fast-paced lives. When you take time to be
in the moment and see what is really happening and what is
true, you often come away with a different picture.
Life is seldom what you think it is. It is usually much
more - more alive, deeper and wider and fuller than you
imagine. The truth often lies hidden underneath a
lot of things that need to be explored on a deeper level.
I can feel as tall as a tree and broaden my perspective of
life, and also be conscious of the tiny ant crawling up my
leg. Sensitivity means you are awake and finding what it
is you truly want out of life, not what you assume you
want.
You truly know more than you realize. You are incredible
beings and I honor the role you play in my life and work
to create a world in which we all can meet our potential.
